Please be aware that your Delta Dental of South Carolina patients from Charter Communications now have alternate ID numbers assigned to their member record. Members may choose to use their alternate ID number instead of a social security number. The alternate ID number can be used in the IVR to obtain the member’s benefits. Also, SSNs are no longer needed to submit claims for Charter Communications members.
Your office, as well as members, can obtain the new Delta Dental of South Carolina assigned alternate ID numbers by calling customer service at 800-335-8266.
